Meet Booey ~ an incredibly sweet natured, active girl recently surrendered to Sheltie Rescue due to toddler's severe allergies.
Booey is enjoying 100% freedom in her foster home and loves nothing more than romping with her new sheltie friends in games of tag around the living/dining room or up/down the long hallway. There is nothing 'old' about this 9-year YOUNG girl . She is full of life and energy, "vim and vineger" as the saying goes. When not playing, she will come to you for loving and petting, resting her chin on the couch and looking up at you with those beautiful eyes ..... Please pet me??
She is a vigorous walker and sets a brisk pace when on leash. Gets quite excited when she sees other dogs ... not in an aggressive way, more like WOW ...LET'S GO OVER AND MEET THOSE DOGGIES. Positive reinforcement training will help with this.
Booey was not allowed on furniture in her first home, so it's taken a few days to realize that it's OK for her to be ON the doggie bed vs. NEXT TO the doggie bed .... much more comfortable, I'm sure.
Newly groomed and sporting a new Valentine's Day scarf
Booey really gives little 3 yr old Jenny a run for her money ... not bad for being 9, now is it !!!! And Buddy [age 12] and Booey have also really hit it off. Click on the icons below to see her in action. ** Buddy is used to Jenny hanging onto his tail, not to worry.
